Scope note
Piece of sacristy furniture in the form of a cupboard, intended to store a variety of liturgical objects, such as robes, apparel, and altar vestments, or used for other liturgy-related functions. It may be either an isolated piece of furniture, built into the wall, or incorporated as an integral part of the sacristy furnishings. It is generally surmounted by a cross or a religious symbol.
